Partners for Affordable Housing’s Board of Directors has named Jen Theneman as its new Executive Director.
According to the Search Committee, a number of talented individuals applied for the leadership role. The committee sought out the strongest candidate who possessed an exceptional and proven record in strategic and operational oversight, team leadership, in addition to donor and community engagement.
Partners’ Board President, Mark Piepho states, “We are thrilled to hire Jen as our new leader. Her strategic and operational leadership, non-profit knowledge, and organizational growth experience is exactly what Partners needs to continue its efforts of bringing more supportive services to our community. We think Jen will be able to continue the growth, development and outreach efforts that have been mounting within the agency and take Partners to the next level.”
Jen shares, “I am very excited to work with such an amazing organization of talented and committed staff and Board of Directors who have provided such impactful support to the greater Mankato community. I have really enjoyed my time at Open Door Health Center, and am thrilled to be going to work with a strong partner to continue serving those in need of a hand up. Partners for Affordable Housing is a quality organization and I’m proud to be chosen to lead the team as we meet the continued need for affordable housing for all. I look forward to working with the community to support these needs.”
Deep-rooted in the community for over 30 years, Partners for Affordable Housing is seasoned in serving the housing needs for vulnerable populations. The organization owns and operates a number of site housing facilities that provide different housing options. In addition to the emergency shelters, Theresa House and Welcome Inn, Partners provide transitional and permanent affordable housing options to the homeless and/or at-risk individuals and families in the Mankato area.
