THERESA HOUSE
423 S. Broad St, Mankato, MN 56001
Theresa House began in a convent community of the School Sisters of Notre Dame. Beginning around 1975, the sisters offered housing to refugee families before opening its doors as a shelter for women and families in 1996. Theresa House merged with Partners for Housing in 2009.
Theresa House has six shelter rooms for individuals and families. Two of those rooms are apartment- style spaces meant for larger families. Amenities include on- site free laundry, a shared kitchen space, two single- occupancy bathrooms, a dining and living room area, and an on-site housing case manager.
