The Holidays can be a tough time for people facing homelessness. Currently, 1 in 4 people are homeless in the Mankato Area. In 2017, 1015 individuals sought out emergency shelter, and an astonishing 47% were children under the age of 18. In order to make the Holiday Season a bit brighter for our Shelter Guests and Transitional Housing Clients. we encourage you to participate in the Adopt-a-Family program.
To participate, sign up below to let us know you’re committing to the program, then, please purchase at least 1 item from each category below to create a family bundle.
Drop off the unwrapped family bundle(s) to our main office by Monday, December 2nd, 2019 and we will wrap them, with help from community volunteers. If you drop off bundles when we are away from the office, please place your items on our donation cart and make sure you complete a donation form so we can properly thank you.
